Who we are
Welcome to Warhammer Art! Thanks for taking the time to read about us – here you will find out a little more about who we are and what makes us tick.
Our mission – our passion – was to curate some of the best collections of Warhammer art on the planet and produce stunning pieces of art that would be suitable for any gallery or gaming room but we thought that was not enough so we went to work with some techies and created a system that allows you to create your own merchandise across notebooks, calendars, greetings cards, and invitations plus a few other ranges just so you can have more Warhammer printed images in our lives.
Our collections encompass the three pillars of Games Workshop's worlds – Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and The Horus Heresy. We have spent years with the Games Workshop team, pulling images from the archives that represent some of the most iconic scenes ever created.
Each of our special edition collections is edition size of 250 and is hand-numbered, produced in limited supply, with each available in a variety of styles – including canvas and aluminium options – and supplied with a certificate of authenticity.
Our Classic Edition range covers Army Books and Codex covers across two sizes offered in edition sizes of 5000
The Artists Behind Warhammer
Our artists are the creative legends who shaped the visual identity of the Warhammer universe.
John Blanche, born in 1948, is the visionary behind Warhammer’s unmistakable grimdark aesthetic. As Games Workshop’s longtime Art Director, he defined the look and feel of Warhammer 40,000, Fantasy Battle, and Age of Sigmar. His gothic-punk style—raw, chaotic, and sacred—gave rise to the Blanchitsu movement and continues to inspire generations. Though retired from Games Workshop in 2023, he remains an active force through personal projects and collaborations like The Army Painter’s Masterclass Series. Blanche isn’t just an illustrator—he’s the mythmaker of Warhammer.
Karl Kopinski, another iconic talent, has profoundly influenced the visual tone of Warhammer 40,000 and other major fantasy and sci-fi worlds with his dynamic, character-rich illustrations. Neil Roberts, known as the driving force behind the epic visual storytelling of The Horus Heresy, has created some of the most cinematic and powerful imagery in the franchise.
They are joined by a host of exceptional talents including Gerry Grace, John Michelbach, Richard Wright, Kekai Kotaki, Thomas Elliott, Anna Steinbauer, LJ Koh, Alex Boyd, Maxime Bocquier, Paul Dainton, Jon Cave, Miguel Da Silva, Yuriry Chemezov, Marc Lee, Lewis Jones, Raymond Swanland, Dave Gallagher and more. Each artist brings a distinct voice and vision, enriching Warhammer’s vast and ever-evolving visual mythology.
There will be regular new additions to these galleries, so be sure to sign up for our newsletter to ensure you are one of the first to be notified of any new additions. We may even source content that has never previously been seen, that will just blow you away!
